“Life Starts Now” is the 3rd studio album by Rock band Three Days Grace, and as with “One X” this album does not fail to disappoint. All of the songs have heavy guitar riffs at the beginning, but singer Adam Gontier overpowers them with his lyrics. Unfortunately for the band, the songs sound similar to that of their last studio album “One X” which makes the whole feel of the album disappointing, it makes you feel like they have re-written the songs and re-released them. On the upside, the whole album is based on how fragile life can be, and some of the lyrics do make you think about it.
The second track “Break” is really the only track that saves this album from being rated 3 Hammers. Overall, it is a good listen, but the whole thing feels like one bad case of déjà vu.
4 Hammers for this album.
