Volunteering at College

CCVP is the Community-Campus Volunteer Programme.

Students take part in volunteering initiatives accredited by National Schemes such as Vinspired and The Duke of Edinburgh award.

Specific student support schemes, and peer support groups are trained by external organisations, creating safer boundaries for other students:-

• Student Area Supervisors - take responsibility for student social spaces
• The Zone - trained by Childline support others with a text helpline
• No Worries - trained students provide information on sexual safety
• The True Vision Team - trained by local Police represent students avoiding harassment of minority groups

Students also give up their time to raise money for both national & local charities, by organising events such as Car Boot Sales, Pantos and School Style Sports days.
